Pinogen has secured seed investment from a public-private partnership project led by SK Specialty, SK Group, Gyeongsangbuk Province, Yeongju City, and Impact Square, further accelerating its R&D efforts for Korean red pine needles and its entry into the global market.
This investment is a recognition of Pinogen's sustainable natural science vision and innovative business model, and will significantly enhance its competitiveness in domestic and international markets.
Pinogen successfully attracts investment through public-private partnerships.

This investment is even more special because it goes beyond simple capital raising. It represents a collaboration between a large corporation, a local government, and a social venture incubator. This project, in which SK Specialty, SK Group, Gyeongsangbuk Province, Yeongju City, and Impact Square collaborated to achieve the shared goal of revitalizing the local economy and fostering innovative companies, is recognized as a model example of the domestic startup ecosystem.

Notably, Pinogen was selected as a company to attract investment for this project, along with Impact Square, which caused a sellout frenzy with its Gompyo beer; Blank, a startup specializing in empty house regeneration; and Backpacker Planet, an outdoor startup. This demonstrates Pinogen's harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, earning recognition in both the local economy and the global market.

With this seed investment, Pinogen plans to expand its global lineup of health foods and pine needle skincare brand Pinesoo, both of which utilize red pine needles. Drawing on a century-old family tradition, Pinogen's products, which combine cutting-edge technology with nature, are generating significant buzz in both domestic and international markets.

CEO Shin Byeol expressed her ambitions:
"This investment represents a significant opportunity for Pinogen to lead innovation in forest science. Pinogen will continue to establish itself as a brand that respects the forest environment and provides a healthy future for people."
